Hey
I was wondering if anyone knew if UT or ACC offered classes during the winter interim. If not, is there anywhere in the area that offers courses during the winter. I'm a transfer student looking to makeup for some lost credits. Thanks.

I'm not aware of any Winter courses offered for credit but you might check the Continuing and Distance Education Center website: http://www.utexas.edu/conted/. For instance, UT offers online courses that you could work on over the Winter break http://www.utexas.edu/cee/college/

You can do winter classes with ACC, I'm pretty sure. Keep in mind though that as a transfer student you're going to need a minimum of 24 UT hours.

Also yeah, distance education is a good option too. A friend of mine did a year long internship in another country so she missed out on credits, what she's doing now is taking UT courses and also taking some courses through the distance education system to make up for it.
