Winter or Fall

I was just wondering if there were any advantages/disadvantages of applying at certain time frames.

For instance right now, I have turned in my application for UM winter 2009, which is the semester right after this coming Fall 2008 term. I just need to send in my grades for the summer classes im taking and my application would be complete.

i know its too late to apply for Fall 2008, but im hoping it would be easier to get accepted for winter term because there are potentially less applicants than the fall term? Or am I just fooling myself?

no one has ANY knowledge of this? c'mon, give me a lifeline here.

Well, first, we don't know what UM is. So you might start there. If you give me that information, I will put it in your thread title, which might get the attention of anyone knowledgeable about that school.

im sure UM
is University of Michigan (Ann Arbor)

yeah, UM is the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor

Why don't you call the University or look on their website for statistics about fall and spring applicants and acceptance rates?

do you know if , u can apply both for fall and spring or winter?
like for a case when u are rejected for fall .. applying again in less than a year??
