Winter Quarter 2010 Transfers

Does anyone know when we will hear decisions for Winter Quarter 2010 transfers? Has anyone heard yet?

I visited Northwestern and spoke with an admissions officer around the first of November. She told me they would send decisions out starting around Thanksgiving, and the first week of December at the latest.

Do they do online notification?

I have no idea.

I have not heard anything at all. According to someone I spoke to yesterday, they said we’ll hear by dec 15th which is their normal response. According to the person I spoke to, they send out email and mail notification. According to a previous post, they notify via fedex overnight.

I just called admissions, the counselor I talked to said that they were still working on decisions, no decisions had been released yet, he didn’t know when we should expect them, he said “it might be both email and mail, we don’t know,” and if I haven’t heard anything by about this time next week I should check back with them. So basically they don’t know when we’ll hear and they also don’t know how we’ll hear.

Got it today, via FedEx overnight. Good luck, everyone!

Nobody else has heard anything? Can’t believe it’s taking so long.

I feel your pain. I only read the post before mine after I’d written, and it made me nervous (some kind of mistake? Do I have really, really dedicated enemies who made up the packet as a prank?). I assure you that I hold the letter in my hands.

Just talked to a counselor (again!), she said all decisions have been sent out, there will be no emails, everything is in the mail and we should hear soon.

Sounds good! I am a nervous wreck!

I was told that the decisions would be coming via regular mail, but I am from Chicago. Hopefully we hear soon!

Has anyone heard from housing? I’m probably going to have to ship a lot of stuff, so time is of the essence. Worse, the netid they gave me doesn’t work, and after 3 phone calls and 2 e-mails, they’re still working on it.
