<p>do you guys think it is easier to transfer in during winter 2010 or fall 2010.. do they have a lower minimum gpa since there is less people applying?</p>

<p>It won’t be any different from the regular Fall admissions. It might actually be a disadvantage applying for the Winter due to the fact that there are fewer open spots that were not filled during the Fall admissions or even worse overbooking from Fall. These will inevitablly make standards a lot tougher for transfers during the Winter since there are fewer opennings. The GPA standards stay the exact same, so there is no advantage.</p>
<p>Check to see if your major is even open for Winter quarter admissions.</p>

<p>My guess is that most likely you will receive your decision in the early to middle of November.</p>
<p>Where are you transferring from? (I ask this since you might be able to do TAG if you’re coming from a CC)</p>
<p>ooo i go to college of san mateo. they do have TAG but im signing it this summer also. im stacked on classes until the end of fall. im taking 19 units now. 8 over the summer and 15 in the fall. i just hope if i dont get in during the winter i can still get in for the fall.</p>
<p>I had a few friends who applied for winter 09, this past year and they found out end of october/early november.</p>

<p>wait so if u want to do winter u gotta apply a year before? I always thought if u apply during this coming summer u would apply for this coming winter of 09 rofl xD.</p>
<p>I think it would be easier to get into Fall for whatever school it might be. 
Some might not even let you apply for Winter, depending on your major.</p>
