<p>Anyone else going to one of Kenyon's Winter Receptions?
I'm going to the one in Chicago, confirmed today.

<p>this may sound stupid, but what is winter reception?</p>
<p>I think, this is the gist I got from the letter, that it’s a party, one in each big city, hosted by a Kenyon Alumni for current applicants. I think it’s just to learn more about Kenyon and to get to talk to people about it, like a PR thing.</p>
<p>I might go to the one in NYC. I don’t know though. I have an important swim competition coming up, and that sat.'s an important practice day… but maybe… this is important too, I guess…</p>

<p>I got an e-mail about it on the 27th. Maybe if you sign up to recieve updates and mail you might get it. But I filled out this form when I visited Kenyon, and they’ve been sending me more stuff since. So, I don’t know… oh, you could send them a message, I’m sure they’d like to have more people. </p>

<p>It is important to attend these events, you will learn a bit more about Kenyon and they will learn about you through the alums. If you didn’t get an invite just call admissions and they can get you the information.</p>
<p>The one I went to was lovely! Gave me a good feeling about Kenyon, for sure.</p>
