Winter Transfer Thread

@LP117343 Yeh I’m in state and my last name start with M

I haven’t heard back and have 90+ credits in state, last name starts with T

My application updated today; I got accepted! I’m so relieved and so much stress has been lifted off my shoulders.

Congrats! I’m happy for you! How many credits did you have?

@Keylin Thank you!~
I’ll have 60+ by the end of the quarter ^.^

@ToastedCrayons and @uwyeahhb what are your stats? Im out of state with my AS and have over 90 units… Still havent heard back.

@Hockey1School2 I did part-time runnng start for 2 years, just graduated high school this year. I went to North Seattle College - Have around 60-65 credits, GPA 3.88 and in state. It’s weird because they emailed me and asked for my SAT scores and high school transcript. For extracurriculars, I only talk about my high school experience and the clubs I was involved in.

@Hockey1School2 about 80 credits (no AS), 4.0 GPA, and I had an internship in the purchasing department for an aerospace company. Im from Southern California. I would think they would send most decisions out by Thanksgiving so don’t give up yet.

Does anyone know of anybody that has been accepted with 90 or more credits yet?

Yea, I’ve been accepted with 92

People who have an AA or earned as close to 90 credits as possible have a higher chances of getting in, that’s what the UW advisor told me.

Okay! I’m just trying to figure out how they determine the order of status updates. I have 107 credits at in-state cc with an AA, have an open major and a 3.75 and did most of those credits in running start. Beginning to feel like I won’t get in but I don’t know why

Hi! I’m a Seattle native with friends who went to UW straight from high school, ones who transferred from in an out of state, a friend who took a year off then transferred, etc. all in the past few years. From what I can tell there is NO ORDER of sending out decisions, other than huge competitive departments (e.g. Foster) get sent out in groups. In my experience, UW has never sent out admissions decisions all at once, so if you haven’t heard yet, I definitely wouldn’t take that as a bad sign!

I have my fingers crossed we’ll get the next batch of decisions Mon.-Wed., hopefully the short week and wanting to get onto Thanksgiving plans will help admissions really speed things up!

Did anyone who was accepted have their unofficial transcript load before their status this year?

Did anyone get their physical letters yet?

Just checked and my unofficial transcript loaded! I was able to use the above enrollment link to claim my spot even though my status hadn’t changed on MyUW. I’m assuming everyone should be getting things soon, because I’m coming from an out of state four year university and from what I understand that is usually the last group to be processed.

If your unofficial transcript loads did you for sure get in?

Has anyone instate got ur acceptance yet? I’m just waiting.
