<p>Do a lot of ppl apply in the winter transfer from community college? Will this help or hurt my chances, as I am xfering for winter...i hope. </p>

<p>Double check with UW. I think I read an article in local paper that they have too many freshmen and won't be taking ANY transfers this year. Or it could have been that they won't take new students for winter or spring and transfers could be ok. Btw, depending on what activity each thread gets your stats could be above or below this one.</p>
<p>Yea, a lot more people ended up coming here than expected. There are still a few dozen people living in lounges or temporary housing. I doubt they will let too many more in since this class is so large.</p>
<p>I am not transfering as a freshman. If i transfer it would be as a junior?</p>
