Winthrop!!!!!!!!!!

uggghhhhh

ND post season troubles......

= ( i stopped watching with 58 seconds left...too painful

i only saw the first half when i was in spanish when it was close. i'm glad i didn't have to sit through the sad second half. and i'm mad because i had them winning and then beating oregon...ggrrrrrr

I have Oregon beating Notre Dame.

However, I guess Oregon will now beat Winthrop assuming it advances.

I also put down Creighton.

It was a tight game that disappointed me in the end...

yeah
it was ugly

Anyone see Texas A&M-Corpus Christi almost beat Wisconsin? They were a 15 seed that had an 18 pt. lead at one point in the game.

I like cinderella stories, but not when ND comes out the loser.

I saw a bit of the A&M CC game, but I wasn't paying much attention. I have a friend there who kept texting me updated scores, though. Too bad they ended up losing.
Too bad for us too. I sort of forgot about the game and didn't start watching till there was about 10 minutes left, but I was hopeful ND would pull through for awhile. Then I just got mad and turned it off with a few seconds left.

ya i had G tech, creighton, and ND winning today

Same here ^.

me too, chillin and manutd...my bracket is screwed

well the second round is worth double and I didnt have Gtech, creighton or ND winning anyway so maybe there is still hope

but um i was really mad at the way we played yesterday

even though im an ND fan, i had winthrop winning. woohoo

Now that ND lost....

I was really ****ed when Xavier lost in the end to Ohio State.

^ Me too.
It seems like I know someone from everywhere that's lost, because I just keep getting texts from people who are really excited 'cause their school is winning, only to lose in the end.
My cousin was actually at the Xavier game, because her hometown is Louisville, which is pretty close to Lexington where the game was played. She is not happy.
On a happier note, Texas A&M just beat Louisville, which makes my entire family happy because my brother is at A&M and my parents are from University of Kentucky, so we all hate Louisville.

And that is why you are a UK fan ^.

I get it now.

I had Villanova winning, but I am not disappointed with UK's win. I like Tubby, and that win allowed him to enjoy a day without criticisms from morons. He is just a good coach who has been plagued with poor recruiting.

My business management teacher says, "With his size, Morris should be killing people." I agree with him.

Along with Morris, there are just so many players who are simply not good enough for UK's standard.

Tubby has done an excellent job for what he has got.

By the way, I live in Lexington.

And this post was my opinion on the current state of UK basketball.

Lastly, I have Texas A&M going to the Final Four!

you guys have to see that Winthrop is a better team than Notre Dame this year. I think they have a really good shot to beat Oregon, which scares me since I have Oregon in the final four.

ManUtd20Ole, you're right. I actually haven't really watched any UK basketball this year, mostly 'cause, to me, it seems as if its gone downhill. I was at their championship win in 1998 and it was just amazing. I guess now I think they should still be playing like that. Who knows.
I actually used to live in Louisville, but we moved to Texas when I was younger.
I do agree too. Kentucky's recruits just aren't that great anymore. I'm trying to remember who (I think it was a teacher of mine) it was that told me "In football, Notre Dame is the school to be at. In basketball, it's Kentucky." but then, recently, me and my dad were talking about it and now its just like, Kentucky isn't really getting any kind of recruits like they used to. Players are going everywhere, because other schools are getting better and better basketball programs.
But then, other people say it was Pitino's team who won the championship in 98, not Tubby, since he was new. I dunno.

I'm glad you have A&M going to the Final Four =) That would be crazy, because even now I don't think of their team being that great. I mean, they put in some seniors for the opening round game, because they were from the class (their freshman year) that didn't win a single game the entire season and the coach wanted to let them have some tournament experience before they graduated. But, I guess now A&M's program has really stepped up.

And that, I suppose it my thoughts on the state of UK basketball. I really hope the school starts to get more and more recruits and better ones, because they could definitely use it.
