Wire bank? help me! URGENT!!

<p>Hi I'm from korea and attending rutgers university in this fall.
i've tried pay my term bill through the school system but failed.
they require a 9-digit routing number and my account number.
the problem is that in korea we don't use the routing number but swift code(international code for indentifying banks) which is comprised of 8 characters instead. i tried to complete the blank for routing number with my swift code but an error occured saying the number is invalid.
so I contacted Rutgers and they said i should use Wire bank system and i dont need to have an american account to send money through that. dont exactly what they mean actually..(i'm not that used to talking on the phone and they were just so harsh. :( ..aww yeah actually i was nervous..) </p>

<p>do you guys know how the wire bank system works? they didnt even give me any information such as their account number and routing number.(i guess they said that i don't need that either.) do i have to ask them? cuz i cant open an american account before i get to rutgers. and i don't think i can send money to them without any information from korea. do you think i can get a routing number if i get to use the wire bank system?
gosh... worse, i cant use my credit card now(the charges just pass my maximum limit)
it seems there is no way to pay the bill... it's due on August 6 and i'm so worried. god..
please help me. thanks in advance.</p>

<p>Get the account information from your university and have someone in Korea go to your bank and have it wired. Bank emplyees should know how to wire money to an American bank.</p>

<p>just a thought- couldn’t you write them a check ?</p>
