Hi all! I've started exploring my options for a laptop next year, and I'm considering a chromebook. First of all, I was wondering if any one had any advice on chromebooks in regards to college work in general (I plan on entering Mendoza sophomore year). In addition, I was wondering how the wi-fi strength and access is throughout campus (in other words, would I able able to be constantly connected, in classrooms, dorms, libraries, etc) and are the printers cloud-enabled, or should I buy my own? Thank you!

Don’t really know anything about chromebooks or what sort of computing needs Mendoza requires. Wi-fi access was good when I was a student (4 years ago now…yikes), there was access in all the buildings and a good portion of the quads also. And the printers were cloud-enabled then, so I assume that that hasn’t changed. Most of the dorms had printers in them also, not just the academic buildings/computer labs.
