Now that wisconsin is switching to the common app, i expect the number of applications there to increase vastly and the acceptance rate to drop.

Agree.
I doubt the in-state acceptance rate will drop.
Most of the additional applications would likely come from out-of-state.
I remember when Michigan switched to the Common App, the number of applications there rose 20%. If approx. the same happens for Wisco, then the acc. rate will drop to around 40% this year.
