<p>I'm a new member, and I need help. I'm choosing between these two schools and am completely torn. I love the idea of going to Wisconsin, but have never visited (from NY). I have two questions, one being which school do you think is academically better, and the other is if you think someone can choose Wisconsin without actually visiting the college...any help would be appreciated, and don't bother asking why I never visited, it's a long story.</p>
<p>Read the Madison over view I just posted. Most students love UW. It's amuch more exciting place than Union.</p>
<p>I have never even heard of Union. You'll have the time of your life in Madison. Plenty of people come here from New York if that's what you're worried about, but the school is still primarily comprised of students from the Midwest if you're looking to get away from the New York atmosphere for 4 years</p>
