Welp, the extraction was a success, but it still hurts like a b*tch and my mouth is sore like a mother. It’s crazy how that anesthesia works. One second you’re awake and the next, well, you’re awake again. It’s like there’s no passage of time. Also, they couldn’t get the IV until the third try on my second arm. I guess I said some pretty wacky stuff on the car ride home, but that’s expected.

At least now I can rest for a couple days. I tried sleeping and watching the Other Guys but, ever-the-workaholic, I ended up going for a walk, fixing things etc.

Now, I’m sittin’ here chillaxin’ with some Jarritos and trying to keep my mind off the pain. Lol

Thanks for advice, guys!

Wisdom teeth extraction has got to be in the top three worst things about being a teenager.

What’s the other top two?

I got all four of my wisdom teeth out towards the end of last summer. It really wasn’t that bad. I didn’t swell up much, and it went away after a day. I just remember that I kept trying to touch the inside of my mouth after surgery and getting yelled at for it. It felt like my lip was huuuuge because of the numbness, so I thought I might have gotten a big lip from surgery. And my tongue was numb too, so I kept poking it. Once enough numbness wore off after getting home, I took a Vicodin and went to sleep since I was then in lots of pain.

Nothing really bad happened, but I did have to live off of pudding on a couple days.

well im gettin mine taken out when i get back from texas which is in about a few weeks, first thing they told me would happen, lots of blood, and no food for a while, and 2 lovely holes in the back of my mouth… W T F.
