I'm not sure if I should even self-study the AP Micro/Macroeconomics Exams (?) with all the academic pressures already building up around me. I'm currently enrolled in a one-semester Economics Honors course (no diff w/ general except for more assigned reading) and I'm considering getting college credit for the course

Does anyone know if its possible to pass this exam by simply relying on CliffNotes' AP Econ Prep book or any other Prep books?

You might try looking at some of the exam books & comparing the topics covered with the topics that will be covered in your course by May, when the exams are. You could even take some sample exams to get an idea of how you'd do. My S & his friends all took AP econ, which is a 1 year course & covers micro & macro very thoroughly & they all did well on the AP exam, so I don't know about self-studying it. I believe there is a wide range of topics covered in the course/exam.

The materials covered in my class is actually very similar to the content of the exams. Although to be honest, I don't think its possible for somebody with no prior exposure to graphs/charts would be able to handle this exam just from self-studying it. In all likelihood, a person with limited understanding who fits my situation would really be odds when it comes to passing, even with a motivated spirit and good work ethic. The instructor for my Econ course is actually pretty new to teaching and would probably be unable to answer some if not most of the questions featured in the exam.

Just out of curiousity, do you remember the book that was used for the course?
