Can anyone living in these houses tell us a little about their experience? OOS accepted into Engineering and considering these housing options. Thanks!

My daughter lives in WISE house. It was the best decision regarding Penn State she made.
It is in an all girls dorm. It provided her with a ready made social group of girls with simliar interests and study habits. Lots of extra support for difficult classes is available through study groups and mentors. They have lots of social activies and do a lot with the Society of Women Engineers. If you are a women engineer major, make sure you sign up for the WEPO orientation!

I have an adult friend who is involved in WEP; it is a great organization. I’d also strongly recommend that your daughter gets involved, anatomypap.
