Wishful Thinking

When do the ED applicants have to respond their decision by? Because I was wondering, as a deferee, that if accepted EDers don't matriculate, then wouldn't that mean all the deferees and RDers have a better chance?

Don't you have to matriculate as an ED applicant?

ED is binding...if accepted, one must matriculate.

In other words, there's no actual "reply date." You've already agreed to matriculate with your ED app.

i asked the admissions office and they said they only require deposit and papers of the like after the regular round decisions are sent out- we have plenty of time

I'm pretty sure they'll let us know when they want our money!! ;)
