I currently have 7+ years experience in IT, specifically in the healthcare industry. I started as a desk side computer technician at a hospital, and eventually got promoted to a server admin/desk side tech position. I was also the admin of the telecom system. I recently changed jobs, and am now an application systems analyst at the corporate offices of the company that owns that hospital.

I'm currently in my sophomore year at the local community college, and plan on transferring to a four-year university after I get my associate's degree. I had originally planned on getting a degree in information systems, or CS (probably database administration) but have questioned this as of late.

My concern is that I'm not sure if I want to be an analyst, programmer, etc. for the rest of my career. Also, CS is a very math heavy degree, and I'm not the most confident in my math skills. I'm honestly not sure exactly what I want to do long term, career wise. This is where my reservations about an IT degree come from. They are very specific degrees that won't help you much if you want to gain employment in a different field. Business management, however, is a very broad degree, and may give me the ability to make a career change in the future. I also like the fact that you can turn that into an MBA without having to take undergrad courses not covered under a CS major.

I'm currently in the $50-$75k salary range, which I'm happy with for the time being, but I'd definitely like to build on that number in the future. Which degree, in my particular situation, do you all think would benefit me most?
