with a 1350 SAT, what does it take to get into princeeton?

with a 1350 M+V SAT, what does it take to get into princeton?

if sat scores are low, so what would actually give me a running chance?

and how many of you actually believe there's much of a difference in 100 SAT points? how much of a difference in a person is there when someone's a got a 2200 and someone else has got a 2100?

That's fine. I don't think most colleges give a crap about SAt's that are above the 2100+ range. It just doesn't matter. I mean, it doesn't measure talent. It shows that the 2200 person could have 1) studied more for the test. 2) be really good at taking the SAT's 3) got lucky.
All 3 possibilities are so plausible, and Princeton most of all does not look highly upon the SATs. An admissions officer told me that he accepted a 1200 (original SATs out of 1600) instead of a 1550 b/c the student wrote somewhere on his application, "You can see my scores are low. They are accurate," or something like that.

What other amazing characteristics do you have?

Go to the Princeton forum and look through last year's decision threads and you will have a good idea of what it takes. Also, remember that this year is probably tougher than last year due to even higher number of applicants. Most colleges don't care about SATs above 2100, but schools like HYP probably do just because they can be that choosy. If your scores are on the lower side for a school you can pretty much count on needing something that makes you stand apart. This can be diversity (URM or geographical), first-gen college, athelete, unique talent, you get the picture. A generic, well-rounded, unhooked student from the northeast would probably have only a small chance.

Would being a Ventures scholar add anything to your application?
