Hi, I just got my AP scores back and I have some concern whether or not I have a legit chance at Harvard now. I've taken 9 AP exams total, with five 5's, two 4's, one 3, but i got a 2 in AP Chemistry.

I'm wondering if this would really kill my chances at Harvard or not, because I had a pretty good track record up to AP Chem.

Thanks for all the responses, it makes me feel a little better.

btw.....our school's science department sucks hard......we have supervisors.....not teachers.

But anyways, to answer Gidean1's question, from what I've seen from others on this board, they will see you as laid back but very brilliant most of the time.

But if you go to a school with a reputation of being hard, they consider you in relation to your peers at your school to see what grades and AP they got.

Also depends on the AP exam.....

Finally, is it better to report my 3 or not...

Just report your 3. It's not a horrible grade, it just means you understood the material, but to a point where you deserved an "A," which would be a 5. Again, test scores are considered thoughtfully among many other factors. A 3 is NOT going to kill your chances.
