How much of a difference does it make by taking a Language test without the Listening portion rather than taking one with the List. portion?

bump???? ??

it's harder.

Because they felt they were capable of meeting the challenge

would it not depend on whether your listening skills are good in that language? For instance, I take chinese, and the listening should help solidify my raw score.

it's probably a better measure of what you're capable of if you do listening. if your listening in the language sucks, though, don't bother.

alright thanks guys

During listening part with the CD, are you allowed to listen more than once?
thanks.

Jmom, they would stop you how...?

"Because they felt they were capable of meeting the challenge"

Thats just BS. Who would seriously take a harder test, potencially ruining their college chances, just to "meet a challange".

College Board is evil, but not dumb. With the execption of the Maths, there are no two tests that are the same with one easier.

because colleges would rather see you be able to SPEAK a language than just READ it
