I am applying to Warren as a CompSci Major. What are my chances?

Your GPA is right there around the average, and your SAT is higher than the average. You also have leadership skills and quite decent EC’s.

I’d be surprised if you did not get in.

You’re in. We have similar scores, and I got into UCLA as well.
Are UC GPAs weighted? I completely forgot, but even if that is your weighted GPA, you should still be set.

thanks guys! that’s a bit reassuring.

@Physalis: This is my WEIGHTED UC GPA. See, the thing is UCSD’s GPA is around a 4.09, while mine is about a 3.96. I heard they weigh their GPA a lot. Am I still fine, or should I think twice?

You’re fine. I got in with a 3.6 weighted GPA and 1870 SAT I. (680 Math II and 540 US History)

Then again, my friends who did better than me got rejected. There’s a bit of chance to all of it. Good luck! Work hard on the essay part.

I think a 3.96 is pretty close to a 4.09. Why would there be a problem? Everything else looks fantastic. My SAT was 1830 and I took 3 AP classes and I got in.

sounds great guys thanks!

400 hours volunteering a library? omg… what for lol?

You should be in, based on previous point scales and accounting for a slight increase in requirement for admission this year.

haha lol ive been a volunteer there every summer since 7th grade. i help kids with the special programs they have here and such.

I had a similar GPA and lower SAT scores and I got in. You’re fine.
