With only 2 years of foreign language

<p>I have taken 1 year of French (French 1-2) and 2 years of Spanish (Spanish 1-2 and Spanish 3-4) and don't plan on taking another foreign language class.</p>

<p>How severely will this hurt my chances of getting into a UC? or an Ivy League?
in other words, is it really that beneficial to take a foreign language all 4 years of high school?</p>

<p>It’s obviously better if you have 4 years of the same language, but if you have other stats/ECs/hooks that eclipse that small issue, it shouldn’t be a problem.</p>
