My 1220 SAT (NEW) score was already sent to NC State, UNC, Syracuse, and UW. When I take the ACT again on September and get a relatively higher score of around 30-31 (in theory), would colleges look past my already-sent SAT score and consider my ACT score instead? This would be my second time taking the ACT (I got a 26 the first time).
Most colleges (though you have to check each school’s policy) will just look at the higher score.
It’s my advice, in the future, to not automatically send scores to schools.
Sure. Why wouldn’t they? They want to see if they can admit your (and your four years of tuition and fees).
Yes, it was my bad. I was given four choices of colleges to send at no cost the deadline for it was only a week after the actual test date.
