Withdraw an ENTIRE semester.

I transferred here to X college for spring 2012 and I'm withdrawing the entire semester. I'm planning on going to FSU for fall term with 68 credits. Should I send the transcript to FSU with 4 w's from this school or should i just not send the transcripts because I withdrew completely at this college? This was my first semester here as a transfer...

Thanks,

I believe you are required to send transcripts from all colleges you attended, so I don’t think you really have a choice, honestly.

yes, I do know it’s required but I wanted to know the possibilities of what would happen if i don’t send them. Because It’s not ideal to have 4 w’s and send them if i could never send the transcripts like it never happend. I wonder if it’s a good idea to not send them…But what are the consequences if i dont send them and they decide that I lied…

I know they can revoke my application because of that but I wonder if they REALLY would find out and if they would put any care about it sense I withdrew the entire the semester…

Thanks people,

I would think that they would care why you dropped out. If they found out without your informing them I’d think they would take that seriously as well.

On my Status Check it says if you fail to send final transcripts w degree posted and if GPA for the term isn’t above a 2.0 then your acceptance can be rescinded.
Soooo I’m pretty sure they’ll want to see your transcripts and will question why you withdrew.

Is this other college within the State University System of Florida? If so, I would definitely send in the transcript. If it’s from a private school or something out of state, I don’t see how they would know, given that it would be a violation of privacy laws for the school to release your transcript without your permission. However, I am no expert. I would say that part of it depends on your excuse for withdrawing. If it’s a good excuse, then I would just send it in. If you just flaked out or are perceived to be “degree shopping,” it might be better to not send it.
