Hi, how do i withdraw my application?

call admissions office

I would send something in writing, either by email or registered letter.

Dumb question... what's the benefit in withdrawing an application?

Jhuston, it's courteous to withdraw an application if you know you will not attend. It saves admissions the time of maintaining a file and contacting you to follow up. It also frees up a spot in the incoming class which can make room for someone who is waitlisted.

Please do! I'm on the waitlist.

Sorry for not updating you guys on my status; I withdrew my app by e-mail. They offered me a very tempting full tuition scholarship, so I guess that might mean more scholarships for other people?

Hopefully! That's nice of you.

afruf what was ur stats?

Look in my past posts. To clarify, the offered me the scholarship long before I tried to withdraw my app.
