<p>So I am a junior and I am applying for Nursing School in December. I am taking zoology 102, which is not needed for nursing. I was taking it because I was going to go to med school and then decided I no longer wanted to. I am failing my zoo 102 course. I have spoken with the professor 3 times and we have sat down and gone over my notes and all, yet I continue to fail the quizzes, which is all the class is based on. I want to drop it so it does not hurt my GPA, but it will show up as a W on my transcript. This would be my first W. Is this going to hurt my chances for nursing school? What should I do?</p>
<p>One dropped course is nothing to worry about and it looks much better than an F, I would go ahead and drop it.</p>
