Withdraw from class after acceptance

Hey everyone,

I just got accepted to my #1 choice for next year (!), and I'm wondering if I can drop a class that's becoming an incredible pain. My grades in every other class have stayed the same, but I just want out of my Psychology class. My question is, will my college be able to rescind my acceptance if I drop a class? Also, it would be listed on my final transcript as Withdraw/C (With the C standing for the grade at the time of the drop)

Thanks

How many classes are you in, did you talk about it in yuor application. If you didn't say much about it and it is just one class, it probably won't matter--but don't drop out of any more.

I'm taking 6 other classes, and no, I didn't talk about it on my application. My grades in all my other classes have been the same or better, so I'm hoping that it won't be a big deal if I drop the class.

I don't think that it would be a big deal.

But to be on the safe side, you should talk to your college and make sure it's OK. You don't want to find out next July that this is a big problem.

You think that they would be able to tell me if it's alright to drop the class?

I'm talking about UConn by the way

You don't want to be surprised after you drop the course. Call them and discuss it.
