Withdrawals on transcript

So here's my situation. I'm an undergraduate sophomore engineering student in my fourth semester. I already have a W on my transcript from freshman year english comp due to a mix up with a professor who refused to even work with me on the situation, but that won't be a good enough reason for a good grad school. I'm transferring schools and will doing a different engineering. I'm now looking at around a C possibly low B in an engineering class that no longer will apply to my major. My gap is around 3.3 and this class will bring it down, while I'm trying very hard to get it back up to above a 3.5. I want to drop the class but I'm afraid two W's will look bad to a good school. How much will two W's hurt me when applying to top 15ish schools? Thanks.
