<p>I'm a junior in high school and currently am taking 5 IB classes. I want to drop my IB euro history in order to focus on the classes that pertain to what I want to pursue. At this point in the school year if i were to drop the class it would come up on my transcript as a withdrawal. Will this withdrawal affect admissions to college? What do colleges do or think when they see this on your transcript? I am taking other rigorous classes, but I feel since this is a core class, it could impact me subtantially. </p>
