withdrawing after being over awarded

hello all,

I was wondering what happens if I were to withdraw after being over awarded on my financial aid (grants). I started the quarter with 12 units (full time) to 8 units (part time). I ended up being over awarded by around $2k~. I’ve read that I don’t owe any financial aid back after completing 60% of the quarter, but what if I was over awarded? my school only has one disbursement date, so I was awarded all of it at once before dropping a class two weeks into the quarter.

I think you will owe money back if you don’t finish the quarter. You need to go to the financial aid office and discuss it with them before dropping any classes.
