I know this question was just addressed, but it was in regard to ED applicants. I did not appy early anywhere; rather, I've realized that my college list is just too long. There is one school that I would never attend and am only applying because my college counselor told me to (great reason-I know). Anyways, I've already sent in part of the application but have no time (or drive) to do the supplement. The last thread suggested that students let colleges know where they are going. What do I say? "Sorry, I just don't like you so I'm not applying anymore"?? I know this was a poor decision on my part, but I'm really hoping I can fix it.
Any help would be much appreciated.

My son withdrew a partially sent out application after the EA period. I think he said something like "I would like to let you know that I am withdrawing my application, and therefore will not be submitting the supplement. Thank you very much." You are under no obligation whatsoever to give them a reason.

Don't sweat this one. Courtesy always counts and is just plain a good habit. Send a courteous message as stated in the post above of "decision to not pursue admission or complete the application process" in the USMail or via email, include your Identity and address..they often use SSNs...and make it short and sweet.

Thanks, I'll send a letter via US Mail.
