<p>I was accepted to a college that had rolling admissions shortly before being accepted early decision to another college. Since it was early decision, it said to withdraw all other apps. Does that mean I should withdraw my acceptance from the other college, and if so, what is the best way to go about this?</p>

<p>Well, I sent USC an e-mail telling them I wouldn't be submitting Part II of their application and they can withdraw my current app, and they sent me a very nice e-mail back asking me where I was applying, how my senior year was going, etc. </p>
<p>It might be different for an ED situation though. You could always call the schools or send them a formal snail-mail letter?</p>
<p>I would send a letter politely declining and keep a copy in case there was ever any question.</p>
