Will withdrawing from a class effect my chances of transferring to a top level school?
I’m in my second year of community college’s pre-engineering program. I have a 3.97 GPA and want to transfer to a top level school next year. I’m currently taking an intro to engineering class and the teacher is TERRIBLE. She assigns an insane amount of work and is highly disorganized. It’s a three credit course and I spend more time on it than my physics and calc classes combined.
I think I can finish the class up with a B but I plan on majoring in physics when I transfer to a four year school, so why deal with it if I don’t have too. Plus, a B would lower my GPA. I’m a really hard worker but this class is just so frustrating and time consuming that I’d rather just not see it through as long as it doesn’t hurt my chances of transfer.
Thanks for the help…
