withdrawing from summer session

so i decided to take a class over the summer for fun, but now that i have thought about it, i don’t really want to take it anymore. it’ll probably be more relaxed during the school year anyways. so i have some questions…

so the class was about $900, and theres a withdrawal processing fee of $200. does that mean i lose the $1100 or i only get refunded $700?

since the class already started, i cannot just cancel it. from the website: “When you withdraw, your transcript will note “Withdrew via petition, Summer 2007.” This notation cannot be removed.” is that really a bad thing to have on my transcript? would it affect my chances of getting a job or into grad school? i’m probably going to find a job to take up the rest of my summer so i can say that if someone asks about it in an interview or something.

thanks for any advice.

...go to the summer session website or call them.

i dont think its a big deal to have it on your record, and i know one of the fees are nonrefundable so you'll probably get 700.

but check
