Withdrawing SCEA?

Hey guys,

Does anyone know what happens when you tell Stanford you do not want to be considered for regular, not SCEA? I ask because I my essays last minute (I know, I am still kicking myself), and after reading them over I do not think they really convey my "voice" or the messages that I intended on sending. If I tell Stanford to withdraw my app, will they throw it out so that I can start fresh for regular? Help, I'm freaking out about this.

Thanks,

I think they use the same application. They just send it to RD. Not 100% sure, though.

I am really unsure as to whether "redos" are allowed. I think the best course of action is to call the admissions office and ask whether an early app can be withdrawn, and if you wish to apply regular, if you may submit a new application.

I'm sure it's possible that they'll let you change your application is you withdraw for later, after all, that's what withdrawing is for.
