withdrawn/fail on transcript

Due to a miscalculation on my part, I was withdrawn from an online course. I was attempting to take a required course (AP US History) online rather than at school in order to free up my schedule to take more classes at school; APUSH was one of the only courses that was available to take online due to our school's policy that science/math courses must be taken at school. I was taking four classes at the time and got overwhelmed. I didn't realize that I was going to be withdrawn until it was too late. I had only done a couple of assignments.

The result is a temporary "F" on my transcript until I receive my final grade in the course in January, at which point my semester grade will replace the "F". Currently, I have one of the highest grades in the class (very high A). However, I am applying to UF before that grade is replaced. How will this affect my chances of admission?

Other stats
Curriculum: Most rigorous, 9 APs including Chem, Bio, and Spanish
GPA (with WF): 3.87 / 4.62
Rank: 10 / 91
SAT: 780 / 720 / 800 (2290)
Other: National, state, district distinctions in debate, varsity tennis, leadership positions in clubs, 100+ volunteer hours, National Merit Semifinalist

Do you think that I will be rejected on the basis of the WF? Without it, I would probably be ranked 5th with a GPA of 3.9/4.7ish. Thanks everyone for their help and understanding!

I’d still say you have a very good chance.
