Withholding scores?

I have a few questions

 1. If i chose to send me scores to the 4 allowed colleges for free when i took the SAT a year ago…do they still have them on file and i wouldnt have to send em again?

If that’s the case, say im taking additional SAT IIs this month, but i already sent my past SAT scores (3 SAT IIs and an SAT) to a college i plan on applying to…can i wait till i receive my most recent SAT II and if i dont like the score, basically dont send another update to that college “updating them” of my newest SAT?..
…just a thought…

You can withhold them until you receive them, you can actually not have them sent to school if you check the box that you are homeschooled students. They are send directly to their home. I had an experince with the school releasing the SAT scores along with my D ACT scores. I only requested her ACT. by having them now sent to just my home I have the ability to make sure this situation doesn't happen again.

I'm a little confused...are u saying the college board will update the colleges of each test i take even after i send my scores? or will my own school put it on my transcript?...im confused..unless i choose the homeschool route which i dont plan on

If they received score reports last year, they have on file whatever scores on that report. They will not find out about any future scores unless you send new score reports.

Correct. If that college already has all the scores it needs for the admissions process, then you can hold off on sending your additional scores until after you receive them.

What Birdie is referring to is that your score report is automatically sent to your high school every time. Some high schools include this information on your transcript, which may cause a problem if you don't want the college to ever see one of your scores. (ie, if you take both the ACT and SAT, but only send the ACT to the college, though your HS transcript has both sets of scores on it)

Thank u very much, that answers it
