Alright, so on WA it says that my application date is 10/29/08. That's the date they considered my application complete, right? I'm making sure I'm still early decision.
However, under the Credentials link under the "Other Required Application Materials" section, it says my HS Teacher Recommendation was received 11/06/08 even though I know it was sent in before October 30th.
I'm still early decision, right? I hate waiting for the 24th, let alone waiting for a regular decision.

yeah you're fine. My WA has November 5th as its last date and I know I'll be in EA. Somebody from my school had 11/12 as their last date and heard last Wednesday. What happens is a really big percentage of those who apply to UMich apply from 10/27-11/1 so their office gets backed up in processing documents, especially the ones that come by mail. They determine if it makes the date by if it was postmarked by that date anyway. Good luck!

Thanks!

Should I be worried that I haven't received a decision yet?

I really don't think people should be worrying yet unless they applied early to mid September and are in-state. Around 45 people from my school (instate) have gotten in, and their stats range from 27 with a 3.7 to 36 with a 4.0 so they are letting in a wide variety of people. Considering that 71 people from my school last year now go to U of M it seems to me that they are around halfway done with acceptances. Knowing that pretty much every over-achieving high schooler in Michigan applies to UMich just to make sure they have that as an option, I can only imagine how much it sucks in the admissions office. I am one of those kids who checks WA every day so I understand how frustrating it is, but in reality there is no need to worry yet especially considering what day we applied.

Yeah, I'm in-state too. I hate not knowing, there's no where else I'd rather go. I'm practically glued to WA.

How do I get a username and password for Wolverine Access? I applied Sept. 29th and want to see if a result is posted.

you should have gotten a UM-ID number after you sent in your stuff.
use that and your e-mail address to create a wolverine access account.
