Wolverine access

view decision appeared on my wolverine access, but when I click it says a decision has been made and a letter will arrive within two weeks

did anyone else get this?

do the post rejects and defers on wolverine, or just acceptances

Wish I could help but this option was not available two years ago when my D applied.......Must be new. I have to believe that if one type of decision is available, all would be - accept, reject or defer.

Good luck and let us know!

I got the same thing and freaked out and was too scared to click on it, but it says the same thing- I'll get it mailed to me within 2 weeks! AHH! :D

Anyone else get a letter today in the mail?

Unfortunately, mine was a thin one...and I'm not going to be a Wolverine:-/
UM was pretty much my first choice, but I'm ok with this the more I think about it. There's other schools that will be a good enough or maybe even better fit for me, and this just tells me that it wasn't the place for me at this point in my life [hey, I didn't say I wasn't considering grad school there;)].
"Everything happens for a reason!"...at least there's no more stressful waiting I guess. Good luck to everyone else!

I'm sorry, Cindy. Hang in there. Things do happen for a reason. And you may not know that reason for a year or more, but eventually it all makes sense. We'll hope for good news for you on the next one.

I know of a young man who got a letter of deferral today

got rejected

OK,
an accept. Female. Was in the Summer Program

Hi Mary Anna,

Is this one of your students? from Texas? If so, major congratulations!! I know of one female acceptance but the girl is from Pittsburgh.

My student hasn't heard a word

xx,Mary Anna

So is the accept you heard about the same girl from Pittsburgh or a second girl?

The acceptance I have heard of is a girl from Pittsburgh who attended the summer program this past summer. Quite talented according to my D--she is very happy for her!

Cindy013, please do not fret about it. It's not worth worrying about. Last year, I was really bummed about getting rejected from Michigan because it was my first choice then, too. Really, as people have said, everything turns out for a reason. You'll be just fine! You'll end up where you eventually will because that's the best place for you. Good luck at all your other auditions!

Congrats to her! If anyone knows her first name and could PM me... I'm curious as to who she was. But that's awesome for so early, good for her! Mary Anna...hoping for good news for your student too if it's the one I'm thinking of...name beings with an M...? :)

ah. they sent me a message with my id and a link but told me to wait 5 days to check it...and then they told me my app was incomplete because my SAT scores aren't there yet (I took the IIs Dec 3)...FRACK.

Cindy013 and chrisnoo,

I'm sorry about UM, but keep smiling....there are more auditions ahead and good things are bound to come your way! Best of Luck!!

My student got a deferral, as we had expected.

Here we go!

xxx,Mary Anna

Did anyone's wolverine access change today? Check it. (Especially if you auditioned feb. 3)

mine did amy :) i freaked out when i saw view decision and then got the "your decision will arrive within 2 weeks" message...blah. love you and miss you. good luck...

Does anybody know how long after our "View Desicion" link pops up, an actual desicion will appear as opposed to "wait 2 weeks for a letter?"
