^^^ don’t think anyone was disputing that Cornell was first among the Ivies. Rather that “no other Ivy admitted women until 1977” which is incorrect. Yale was 1969 and other poster listed the other earlier dates.
And while many were not officially co-ed, women still attended and graduated. Grace Hopper being one notable Yale graduate

@tonymom: My post was intended to clarify the following which I quote from post #10:
“Cornell (sort of hard to tell, but at least 1970)”.
If the posted year 1970 was correct, it would indeed make it “not first among the Ivies”.
However the actual year 1872 is a bit different.
And besides, first or not, if the years for each of the schools are being posted, they should be correct.
