<p>My daughter has the opportunity to spend a couple of days in a hands on engineering experience at RIT.</p>
<p>Is there anyone that has either gone through this program or a parent whose child has gone through this?</p>
<p>Are there any other programs like this in the Northeast?</p>

<p>I don’t know about RIT, but I hope she is considering Smith College for women’s engineering, by far the best way for women to do science.</p>
<p>The best program I know is MIT’s Women Technology Program … but the deadline for Summer 2009 was January 15.
