<p>I got this thing in the mail about the Women in Engineering program in October and it's like a day full of tours and stuff at Purdue, and then at the bottom it says that if you bring a completed application, they'll waive the fee and you'll receive an admission decision by the end of the day.</p>
<p>How does that work exactly? I've never heard of any college doing this before...</p>
<p>well, Purdue uses rolling admissions. So you turn in your application whenever, but then you have to wait till the adcoms evaluate the applications that came before it. WIEP is offering to waive the app fee, so i guess they'd also be able to arrange for your application to be evaluated that day. purdue's application is very simple. there aren't any essays or anything. so they'd be able to crank out decisions quite quickly if they wanted.</p>
