Hi guys! I was a WODie last fall and am a member of Smith’s Class of 2022! Women of Distinction was such an amazing experience and an influential part of my decision to attend Smith. I wish you all the best of luck! If they are using the same process as last year, accepted students will be called, and then they send stuff in the mail. If anyone has any questions about the program let me know!

So true @carefreegirlll Now that I am starting to like Smith, I feel like I shouldn’t have used a pre-written essay.
I have yet to fall in love with smith but I have a feeling that if I get the chance to go on campus, I will.

@aspiringgirl I’m not sure. I don’t think they did last year? Idk if you look for the WOD 2016 thread you can see because I remember someone mentioning they missed the call. They will send out an email about it the next day to all accepted, regardless of if they picked up the phone or not!

I forgot to update y’all! I was rejected, but it is totally okay.
I got accepted. Hope to see some of you there & others it’s alright like I said “it isn’t actual admissions”
^^ Please don’t be discouraged. There are many others to apply to. They’re warm up for the actual apps, which open next week!
Just a question, what are we supposed to bring?
Sleeping bag, toiletries, clothes, towel (forgot this one and my host didn’t have an extra xD I had to use a couple of her old t-shirts to dry off), something to do on the flight/ride (you’ll be pretty busy there), and maybe if you wanna be overprepared, a resume for your interview (if you haven’t had one yet, you most likely will be interviewed while on campus) I didn’t bring one though and I was fine
