By brightest minds, I mean people who have used their intellect to come up with revoltionary concepts and inventions; people like Einstein, Newton, Galileo, Hawking, Da Vinci, Aristotle, Euclid, Copernicus, Darwin, Curie, Archimedes, Gauss, Euler, the Wright brothers, Hubble, Edison, Franklin, Pasteur, Marconi, and oh so many others.

you'd be surprised to find how many of those guys put forward their wives contributions as their own since women weren't allowed to.

^Yup. And Curie was female.

Haha. I actually met Maureen Dowd after a lecture and reading her book. It was hilarious. Some of her words make so much sense, and, yet, they remain humorous.

and, yes,

WOMEN ROCK!

*"that's stupid, the only reason why women might have scored lower on IQ tests is because they didn't have the same education as men."

Excuses, excuses...*

Haha. I don't really believe that the IQ test is, indeed, useful. I, also, don't think a few points is much of a deviation. As long as you're around 100, you're fine.

And, in regards to the history references, women not having the same opportunities for education now may be easily seen as an excuse, but you gotta admit that, IN HISTORY, the certainly didn't have the same education (or any formal education, for that matter).

So, if we were all considered equal, who knows what might have happened

YOU MET MAUREEN DOWD! (that was in caps)

I love her! I read her column in the NYT! Wow! That lady is so funny!

I wasn't referring to just men. I was trying to show that most of the brightest minds have been men.

what's your point?

Refer to post #16.
Oh, and of course let's not forget all of the brightest minds of humanity; most of them were men.
My point was to prove that and to reply to your post.

Yea, so, what's your point that men have done intelligent things and been remembered for them?

Men dominate in the math/science field. Most of the best inventors have been men. I guess that is what I'm trying to say. Women need to step up and prove themselves.

wow

you sound like this one pottery teacher at my school

(I guess what I'm saying is you should reread what you just wrote)

Hmmmm...okay?

soooooo, basically you're an idiot?

How am I an idiot?

Think before you post. We have brains for a reason.

Women need more logic (as seen by above post).....
