women's lightweight rowing international student

I am currently in my second last year of schooling and interested in traveling to the States for rowing and university. I have only been rowing for 2 years and able to pull a 7:28 erg being 150lbs. I know I can improve and am willing to put in the effort to succeed. My main focus is to get a good education and hopefully use rowing as a key in. I get above average grades and am fortunate enough to be financially okay.
I was wondering what my chances are like and if anyone has any advice regarding international acceptance? I have been doing quite a bit of research yet still lack complete understanding of the system and process, should I use a consultant company??
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

The first thing to note is that you are not a lightweight. Lightweight women are capped at 130 pounds.
A bit more info will help people give you some direction.
Are you a rising senior or rising junior?
What exactly are your grades and test scores - if you have them?

Most of the US universities like “Crew” students. I would say that you should contact the schools that you are interested in attending and go through their athletics department to ask about “crew” information. You don’t need financial aid and you’re an athlete, so I’d say you have great chances of getting into a good university.

Sorry I made a mistake I actually weigh 58kg ( 128lbs). I am in yr 11 ( equivalent junior I think). And my grades are in the top 15% but we haven’t got grades as such yet- different system.
