Won a Couple of Awards Since Submitting Midyear Report - How to Let Them Know?

Title pretty much says it all :)

I think you are supposed to send them a letter, and maybe call them to tell them you sent a letter. Harvard told me to do this, so I assume its the same for MIT, lol

As in a snail-mail, real-life letter? That seems odd. I can’t imagine it would get “processed” all that quickly, and since selection is apparently starting up soon…?

Why waste any time asking us? Just email them the update already.

You can either email or snail mail updates. An email update has to be printed off and physically placed in your file, so the time differential between the two methods is relatively negligible.

Perhaps this is a pathetic question, but what’s the e-mail address I should send my update to?

Log on to MIT’s undergraduate admissions website and then just scroll down to the bottom of the page for the contact information.

I’d thought there might be an official address for this sort of thing. Guess not; thanks!
