Wondering about my chances for Cal Poly Pomona?

<p>I applied for mechanical engineering,</p>

<p>So far:
CSU unweighted GPA: 3.89
CSU weighted GPA : 4.17</p>

<p>ACT/ writing Composite : 30</p>

<p>My senior year schedule is</p>

<p>AP Calculus BC
AP Physics C
AP Econ
AP Govt
English 4
Intro to college engineering
AG mechanics and metal technologies</p>

<p>I didn’t start taking honors/ap courses until my jr year though (will that effect me?)</p>

<p>I did take 5 ap/honors classes my jr year too. (AP Stats, AP Enviro, AP Psyc, H Precal, H Physics).</p>

<p>I have a few good EC’s including NHS, Peer assistance learning program, a sucessful online production business that I started, over 125 cs hours, ect… But I know that they do not consider it.</p>

<p>The only thing that worries me is that I am a oos student (I’m from Texas) and that ME is impacted. I did visit the campus before though, and it was love at first site! So, can anybody chance me?</p>

<p>this website will give you a good idea, but if you have a 3.5 or higher you have an extremely high chance. my friend has a 4.0 and was accepted</p>

<p>Honestly, you’re going to be accepted with your GPA and especially with your ACT.</p>
