I haven't taken a full SAT, ive taken 1 PSAT (which really sucked... extremely) but i have a great GPA and a superb class rank in a competitive high school. Anyone wanna suggest me websites with scholarships based on academics with no essay for a rising junior in high school

Hi Kunnel,

Unfortunately, most of the time, at least, you are going to have to write an essay of some sort in order to apply for a scholarship. You see, scholarship providers want to provide scholarships to individuals gleaned from a pool of qualified recipients. This pool is usually determined by objective factors like academic performance. Next, they use the essays to try to get a feel for the pool of applicants, and award the scholarships according to the qualified applicants who "best fit" the "spirit" of the scholarship.

The best advice I can give you is to not get discouraged form applying to a scholarship just because they require an essay. If you aren't confident about your essay writing skills, the English department in your High School should provide some resources for editing and proofreading your essay. Ask your english teacher, they are usually glad to help.
