So I recently graduated from UC Davis with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Sociology. I was pretty set on going to law school but that fell by the wayside as I can't see myself enjoying the practice of it. I would most likely love the study of law though.

For some time I really want to get into consulting and there's one dream company that recruits every quarter, it's a health industry consulting firm. The problem is that I probably do not have the quantitative background they are searching compared to other applicants. I look back and wish I stayed as an economics major even though political science interested me.

Should I wait until they come back prepare myself with knowledge of the company, talk to them at the career fair and apply again in the fall? Or I can take the option of continuing to send out my resume to companies and perhaps take the first offer that seems reasonable as to pay and what I may like doing?
