Hey I’m trying to choose btw University of Michigan (in state so reduced tuition) and Upenn

I’m also trying to choose a major which for me is hard bc basically I really love science, but dont want to do engineering or medical which is what parents want me to do.

Also, at Penn, what was your favorite thing that for u made it stand out. Any regrets small or big?

I was like you in that I really liked science, but I wanted to stay away from engineering. I'm currently in Wharton, but I'm planning to double-major with Cognitive Science - just thought you might want to look into it. Its the science of how the brain works, and includes a mix of psych, philosophy, and biology.

My favorite thing about Penn was that the students when I went there all told me how much they really loved it and everyone seemed happy there. It was just a good vibe I got when I visited campus.

Any other thoughts? Comments about Penn?

Hey I am going to apply to both. I LOVE both schools, but of course, you have to apply to the IVY, right? I am going to apply to UMich in like october as a safety, and then if I get into penn or not it will still be chill cause UMich is a GREAT school.

yea i hear ya. nice name btw.
